Cake Pop Madness

Life has been a crazy whirlwind lately of photography, so I took a few minutes today to make a little treat for myself and my family. After seeing a great recipe for cake pops on the twitter feed for Greenmunch, I took to the internet to find a quick and easy recipe for these pretty little desserts.

I went the fast route and bought a pre-mixed box cake, baked it in cupcake tins and crumbled the cake once it had cooled. Then I mixed a little coconut milk into the crumbs and formed balls around the paper straws. After they cooled in the fridge, I drizzled coconut icing on them and finished them off with a dash of sprinkles! All in all, a really fun day!cake pop collage

I currently freelance for Where magazine, helping out with their Hot Dining section, as well as freelance as a make up artist for Global TV’s creative department. When I’m not doing either of those things, I’m either photographing a wedding, or saying yes to an awesome project… such as taking on the blog for Greenmunch!
